Raised in the South Bronx, by a Puerto Rican grandmother, I was exposed to diverse groups of people at a young age. When I began volunteering throughout the United States, my exposure widened. Spending my summers on tribe reservations in Washington, engaging in disaster relief in New Orleans, conducting pet therapy in NYC and feeding the hungry in Phnom Penh, Cambodia; volunteering led me to the professional sector of the social service field. Since 2010, I have been a support to children, adolescents and adults; having worked with the general and forensics population to address trauma, abuse and emotional wellness.

For psychotherapy, I use an integrative approach combining Psychodynamic and Systems Theory, Somatic Psychotherapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I help clients explore unconscious beliefs and patterns shaped by early experiences and how these dynamics influence current emotions, behaviors, and relationships. I help them become more aware of their bodies and the connection between their physical sensations and emotions. Also, supporting them with experiencing presence in their lives, being able to cope with stressful situations, regulating emotions and improving relationships with others.

My work is largely shaped by lived experience + interest in collective liberation and healing. I believe this is where much of my empathy comes from and my passion is working with BIPOC women, who are ready to live happier lives. I believe my clients are the experts on their own experiences and seek to support them in forming their own narratives. I hold an authentic and safe therapeutic space to explore, connect and heal. Through the use of curiosity, humor, and compassion I foster a collaborative, affirming and non-judgmental environment that supports you.

In my free time, I enjoy reading thrillers, eating good food, and spending time with my partner and our dogs. I also love being creative and exploring nearby towns/going on adventures.
